Bulldogs out hit, lose three

The Lafayette High baseball team played 3 games this past week.

They played at Loachapoka on Monday, at Horseshoe Bend on Wednesday and home against Reeltown on Thursday.

Against Loachapoka the Bulldogs got the offense going early with a five run first inning.

The second inning the same with five runs.

The Indians however would get going in the third and fifth innings.

The Bulldogs were led hitting by Jaquavion Boston-Gaines, Markevious Tolbert and Julius Bullard.

The final score would be Loachapoka 15 Lafayette 14.

On Wednesday against Horseshoe Bend the Bulldogs struggled to get any offense going.

Shealey winds up to fire a strike.

The only runners coming on an error and a walk.

The Bulldogs would score their only run of the game on a pass ball.

The Generals would win 15-1.

The Bulldogs hosted Reeltown on Thursday.

The Rebels would score 3 runs in the first inning, 4 in the second and 6 in the third.

The Bulldogs would get on the board in the third inning.

Lafayette would score 3 more runs in the fourth.

The Bulldogs had five hits in the game, Markevious Tolbert had two hits, Zarion Moore, LaFrederick McCurty, and  Julius Bullard each had one hit.
Final score Reeltown 16 Lafayette 4.The Bulldogs have 3 games this week.

Tolbert runs in safe to 3rd base.

They will host Lanett on Monday, Loachapoka on Wednesday and will travel to Lanett on Friday. GO DOGS!!!!!
