The Lafayette Baseball team got back in the win column on Friday night with a 20-5 win over Lanett at Jennings field.
The game started off back and forth with neither team really able to get anything going.
The Bulldogs would score first and jump out to a 4-1 lead.
The Panthers however would fight back and took the lead 5-4.
The Bulldogs would settle down and get the bats going and slowly pulled away.
Julius Bullard pitched for Lafayette and Nick Beaty came in for relief.
“We finally put together a full game, Offense and Defense.
I am so proud of how the players responded after Lanett took the lead.” said Coach Micheal Pattillo.
The Bulldogs travel to Horseshoe Bend on Monday before hosting a double header with Loachapoka on Wednesday and a single with Lanett on Thursday.
