A single-vehicle crash Sunday, Oct. 30, has claimed the life of Austin Sanders, a teenager from Camp Hill who was a passenger in a 2015 Polaris RZR when he fell out of the ATV and was struck by a 2000 Jeep Wrangler.
He was pronounced dead a short time later at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika. There were no other injuries. The collision occurred on Chambers County 62 approximately 4.5 miles northwest of LaFayette. Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
