Rain fails to dampen rodeo turnout

Despite the weekend rain, the Sheriff’s Rodeo, held in LaFayette over the weekend, was again a great success. Attendees were treated to barrel racing, bronco riding, steer roping and of course the antics of clowns and others. Proceeds from the rodeo will be used for a variety of Chambers County law enforcement programs and equipment.
