A couple of the Banking & Financial Systems students at the Chambers County Career Technical Center visited several banks, credit unions, cash advance and payday loan agencies during the week of February 9-16th.

Banking & Financial Systems is a new class taught by Ms. Thomas who has five years in the banking field. This course introduces students to the business of banking, the Federal Reserve System, customer services, banking regulations, money regulations, management, history of banking, future of banking, banking careers, and other relevant topics about the functions of banks.
The students learned a great deal about the operations and had a chance to visit the many departments of a banking agency.
