The Greater Valley Area Chamber of Commerce held its annual dinner program held at the Point University Golf Club and Events Center a week ago.
Outgoing President Denise Clark received an award from the Chambers County Development Authority and a standing ovation from members in appreciation for her service. New president, attorney Deborah Mitchell praised Clark for instilling in all of us the need to shop local.
Mitchell has been active with the Chamber for eleven years, the last two as a board member. “I’m here for all of you. The Chamber is a great resource, a business advocate, and you should make use of it,” Mitchell said.
