Two Lafayette twin brothers have found themselves in trouble with the law and facing serious felony charges. Lafayette police have arrested and charged Phelix Andrew Lockhart, 18 and his twin brother Justin Lockhart, 18 in connection with a May 13th Shooting along Alabama Avenue East in Lafayette.
The brotherly duo is facing charges of attempted murder following the shooting of 20-year old Frank Floyd following an early morning altercation between the men along Alabama Avenue East. The incident occurred near Lafayette high school where the Lockhart brothers are students.
The victim survived the shooting in which he was struck twice by bullets. Lafayette Police Chief Benjamin Hill also confirms that in addition to the Lockhart brothers being charged there are additional charges pending against two juveniles for the shooting as well. A trial date has yet to be set in the case.
