The Oak’s in Lafayette, Alabama will be hosting our annual sporting clay shoot, turkey shoot, live auction, gun raffle, long shot booth, guess the load contest, and concessions. We will have a lemonade and sweet tea stand with plenty of sweets as well. This is a family fun filled day so please come out and enjoy. 100% of the proceeds go straight to the children’s hospital in Birmingham, Alabama.

Family Fun info – Same Place Same Time! Craft booths, Paint Classes for Adults and Kids, Holiday bow making, Inflatable for kids and plenty of food for all. PTO is selling tickets for a $5,000.00 give away, which will happen at 2pm.

The Chambers County Library
Will be selling five-dollar hotdog lunches in front of the Courthouse on Wednesday, March 7 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. CST. The lunch includes two hotdogs, chips, and a dessert. All of the proceeds will go towards the annual Summer Reading Program at both the Bradshaw and LaFayette libraries.

St. Jude Walk-A-Thon

Will be Saturday, April 14th. LaFayette Day for Hike/Bike/Run will include Arts and Crafts, kids rides and games, A Fireman’s Competition, Antique & Classic & Show Cars, a Motorcycle Ride, fun, food, Bar-B-Que, a full day of musical entertainment, and much more. The hours are 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. CST. All the events take place around LaFayette’s Court Square.

4-H Chick Chain registration
Chambers County 4-H Chick Chain registration is open through March 19, 2018. Chambers County Extension staff will assist each youth along their journey to raising 10 healthy chicks. For only $40 this is an excellent program for Chambers County youth from ages 9-18 to learn a variety of skills including record-keeping, business management, and poultry management. Participating youth will realize the pride of accomplishment when they bring two of their chickens to show and auction on October 6, 2018. The youth may keep the remaining chickens and contribute to their home food supply. For more information about the breeds visit www.aces.edu/chickchain. Camp Hill Flea Market
The town of Camp Hill will operate a flea market the second Saturday of each month starting March 10, 2018 thru November 10, 2018. Food venders must have Tallapoosa county permit. No admission fee and free parking Hours of operation is 30 min after daybreak until 2pm. The space rent is $10 er spot.

Chambers County Lake $1500 In Cash Payouts!!
CRAPPIE March 1 to March 31, BASS April 1 to April 30, CATFISH May 1 to May 31.
$15 entry fee per tournament. Fish as many times during each month to win a chance at any or all payouts.
All fish must be caught from Chambers County Lake.
