LAFAYETTE CITY HALL CLOSINGS
City Hall will be closed on Friday, November 11 in observance of Veterans Day, Thursday, November 24th and Friday, November 25th  in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday. City Hall will reopen on Monday November 28 for normal business hours.

JACKSON MEMORIAL BAPTIST CHURCH SCHEDULE
Come join us in fellowship at Jackson Memorial Baptist Church. Sunday School – 9:30 am CST. Morning Worship – 10:30 am CST. Wednesday Night Service – 5:30 pm CST.   Everybody is welcome to come. The church is located at 3122 Co Rd 89 in LaFayette. Movie night the last Friday of every month at 6:00 p.m. CST.

LEBANON PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
Services are held 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month. Rev. Gerald Ledbetter from West Point Presbyterian in West Point is preaching at 12:30 p.m. CST. All are welcome. Come and worship with us.

UNION HILL FIRE DEPT CAKE WALK
The Union Hill Volunteer Fire Dept. Annual Cake Walk will be held on Saturday, November 19 at 6:30 p.m.CST The dept will be selling chances on a gun. See any member to purchase your ticket. They will be $5.00 each or 5 for $20.00. The concession stand will open at 5:30 if you would like to come eat early. We will be selling BBQ sandwiches, Hot Dogs, chips, etc. Please bring a cake are a item to walk on.

USATF TRACK TEAM
Valley Recreation Dept. is starting a USATF Track Team. This will be a year round program that will train and participate in local and regional track meets. There will be an organizational meeting on Nov. 15 at 6:00 p.m. EST at the Valley Community Center for all who are interested. The team will be open to youth ages 8-18. NOVEMBER COMMISSION MEETINGS
The November Commission meetings of the Chambers County Commission are set for Wednesday, Nov. 16 (due to elections) and Monday, Nov. 21. Commission meetings begin at 4:00 p.m. CST. and are held in the commission chamber located at 2 South LaFayette Street in LaFayette.

CLOSING OF THE CHAMBERS COUNTY COMMISSION
The Commission offices will be closed on Friday, Nov. 11 in observance of Veterans Day and Thursday Nov. 24 and Friday, Nov. 25 for Thanksgiving.
