If you’re a horse owner wishing to improve your pasture system, please join us for an educational meeting on May 16, 2017. The meeting, entitled Equine Pasture and Grazing Management, is the second of a three meeting series discussing pasture management for horses. This second meeting will feature Alabama Extension Equine Specialist Courteney Holland, as she discusses soil fertility and methods to improve soil health that will increase the quantity and quality of grazing available to your horses. The meeting will occur Tuesday May 16, 2017 at 6:00 pm CST at the Chambers County Farmers Federation Building, 1006 Avenue A SE, LaFayette. A small program fee of $5 will provide refreshments and help establish horse programming in East Central Alabama. Please RSVP to the Chambers County Extension Office at 334-864-9373 by 05/15/2017. We are excited to continue programs targeted toward horse owners in this region of the state, and hope you will join us with this great event. Everyone is welcome!
