Fairfax StudentsFairfax students plant trees at Chattahoochee Humane Society’s new pet complex facility for Earth Day. The students weren’t deterred by the rainy day conditions, as they donned their ponchos and planted trees. Complete with muddy hands and wet feet, the students from Mrs. Roberts 5th grade science class discussed how to carefully loosen the trees from the pot, plant carefully to keep out air pockets, and the importance of root systems to the environment and the plants. Thank you students for helping CHS improve the landscape at the new pet complex by planting these trees!
