Chambers County is the ideal any town U.S.A. community and one thing that every town in any town U.S.A carries is small businesses, sometimes called the mom and pop stores small business are the backbone and the foundation of a communities economic ideas. Organizations in Chambers County have a strong history of supporting their local small businesses this includes things such as the CCDA small business grants and also exposure opportunities to showcase what some of Chambers County small business have to offer.
The Ambassadors of the Greater Valley area Chamber of Commerce are hosting their annual fast-pitch networking event on Tuesday January 26, 2016 at 7:30 a.m. at the Hampton Inn on Phillips Road in Lanett. The annual event is much like an auction block, but allows business owners and presenters to showcase what their business has to offer in a quick environment.
The GVCC hosts the event that allows presenters to take the center stage for 90 seconds to tell fellow attendees about services and products that their businesses or organizations offer. The event allows for a wide array of business to showcase what they have to offer this includes both businesses that are members of the Chamber of Commerce and those who are not. The event is a large promotion and marketing opportunity for local small business throughout the County. Following the presentation sessions a networking event is also slated for participants. Those in attendance are encouraged to bring business cards.
There is a registration fee associated with attending the event for non-chamber members that fee is $15 and chamber members will not be charged a fee. There is not a charge for audience members to attend and observe. There is limited space to the event and registration for the event closes at 4 p.m. on Tuesday January 19, 2016. Those wishing to attend should contact the Chamber of Commerce before the deadline for further details.
