On May 16, 2017, the Jr. Ambassadors for the Greater Valley Area Chamber of Commerce had their end of the year banquet at Johnny’s Pizza. In recognition of the Jr. Ambassadors hard work and dedication to the program, each Jr. Ambassador was awarded a certificate of completion. Each year the Greater Valley Area Chamber of Commerce awards the Jr. Ambassador with the most participation and most volunteer hours with the Jr. Ambassador Award of the Year. For 2016-2017, SarahAnn Southerland was named Jr. Ambassador of the Year. SarahAnn was recognized with a certificate as Jr. Ambassador of the Year and received an HP Chromebook provided by Charter Bank and CDW.

SarahAnn Southerland is the daughter of Brad and Lacey Southerland. This is her second year as a Junior Ambassador. SarahAnn is currently a Junior at Valley High School. She is Junior class secretary, participate in Key Club, Beta Club, Rambassadors, Spring Road Christian Church youth group, and is part of the top 10 of my class academically. SarahAnn was just elected Key Club Vice President, Yearbook editor, and class secretary for her senior year.

The Greater Valley Area Chamber of Commerce would like to thank all of our Jr. Ambassadors for the 2016-2017 year. We appreciate their dedication and hard work throughout the year. Special thanks to Johnny’s Pizza for hosting the event and to Charter Bank and CDW for providing the HP Chromebook.
