Higgins, Oliver Selected for All-American Game

Chambers Academy juniors, Jake Higgins and Jacob Oliver, were selected to play in this years USFA (United States Football Association) All-American Stars and Stripes Football Game held in Gatlinburg, Tennessee on January 4, 2020. The USFA recently purchased the NAAPS (National Athletic Association of Private Schools) and now combines standout public and private school players from across the United States based on school size to compete in the annual games. Both Higgins and Oliver participated on the Stripes team for the event along with several fellow AISA school players from Lowndes Academy and Lee-Scott. Several more AISA players from Escambia, Evangel Alabaster and Bessemer Academy helped to make up the Stars team resulting in a strong AISA showing at the All-American Game.
