The special seven-mile walking event has been organized in memory of Jane Carmack, who worked at Valley Haven for 36 years. Radio Personality Al Pearce and “Miss Jane’s” daughter, Cindy Daniel, who works at EAMC-Lanier, planned this walk. Employees at EAMC-Lanier have formed a team to walk in memory of “Miss Jane.” The seven-mile walk begins at 7 am at Capital City Bank in West Point and anyone may join the walk. If you are interested in making a donation to Valley Haven in memory of “Miss Jane,” contact Cindy Daniel at firstname.lastname@example.org or Cindy Brooks at email@example.com.
