The Lady Rebels traveled to Autauga Academy last week to play an area game in what they hoped would be a win; putting them a step closer to post season play. The Rebels, however, were not able to compete against the Generals losing in 3 straight matches. Tate Reese led the Rebels with 7 kills in the loss.

Head Coach, Chandra Beck, wasn’t pleased with the outcome commenting that the girls weren’t communicating with each other enough during the game.
Coach Beck intends to make some changes that will hopefully increase focus, communication and endurance during games.

The JV ladies fared no better losing in 2 matches. Britten Stephens led the JV with 4 kills and Chloe Mitcham added 2 kills. Errors plagued the team as there were 10 avoidable team errors.
The Rebels have a busy week coming up with games against Crenshaw on
September 12th at home and against East Memorial Christian Academy away in Pratville on September 15th beginning at 4:00 cst.
