Mr. Hill
Mr. David Hill 54, of Auburn, died Saturday, July 22, 2017 at the East Alabama Medical Center. David was born in Roanoke, November 26, 1962 to the late Jack Hill and the late Jean Butler Hill, He was a member of the First Baptist Church in LaFayette and was employed as an electrician with Auburn Electric. Memorial services were held Monday July 24, 2017 at 5p.m. at the First Baptist Church in LaFayette.

David is survived by his wife-Angie Moore Hill of Auburn, two sons-Will Hill and Kyle Hill of Auburn, three sisters-Susan (Tim) Larsen of Opelika, Beth (Jim Ingram) Hill of Lanett, Sharron (Kelley) Farrar of Lanett, one brother-Tracy Hill of Auburn, mother in law-Dorothy Moore of Camp Hill, sister in law-Denise (Russ) Cowley of Alabaster, Al., brother in law-Clay (April) Moore of St. Augustine, Fl., nine nieces and nephews and three great nieces and nephews. Was preceded in death by his parents and father in law-Olice Moore.

Mrs. Taylor
Mrs. Lura Dell Taylor, 82, of Oxnard, CA (formerly of Camp Hill) died Wednesday, July 12, 2017 in Oxnard, CA. Funeral services will be held at New Canaan Missionary Baptist Church, 26403 Veterans Memorial Parkway, Camp Hill on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. (CST) with Rev. Justin Freeman officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The remains will lie in state at the church from 12:00 p.m. (CST) until the funeral hour. Public viewing will be at Vines Funeral Home, Wednesday, July 26, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. to 7: 00 p.m. (CST).

Mrs. Taylor was born to the late Arthur and Ozella Tinsley on August 3, 1934 in Camp Hill. Early in her life, she was a member of New Canaan Missionary Baptist Church and later on the First Lady of New Progressive Baptist Church in Oxnard, CA for fifty-four years. Mrs. Taylor was a dedicated wife, sister, aunt, mentor and friend who was also well known for her powerful yet angelic gospel voice and thirty years of service as an educator.

Mrs. Taylor is survived by her husband of fifty-nine years, Pastor Jesse J. Taylor; two sisters, Ethel David, Auburn, and Beatrice Adams (James), Oxnard, CA and one brother, Deacon Roy Tinsley (Gloria), Camp Hill and a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.
