Members of the Future Farmers of America program at Chambers County Career Technical Center have been busy the past few weeks preparing for their annual poinsettia sale, which begins on Monday, November 25.
“Last year, the demand exceeded our supply, so we have doubled the inventory this year to 400 plants,” said FFA instructor Jordan Harris.
The plants will be sold from the Career Tech greenhouse at the rear of the campus for $6 each as long as they last. The campus will be closed for Thanksgiving November 27 through December 1, and sales will resume on Monday, December 2.
All proceeds will be used toward future FFA projects.
