Rebels drop heartbreaker in 10 innings

The Chambers Academy baseball team had a terrible upset on Saturday as they lost to Kingwood Christian on the road by a score of 2-1 in 10 innings.
Luke Davis led the Rebels at the plate hitting 2 for 4 with a double and a RBI.  Earlier in the week the Rebels faced EMCA at home winning 10-0.
Gavin White got the start on the mound.  White pitched 6 innings; striking out 6 and allowing no runs.  Blake Sheppard led hitting going 3 for 4 at the plate, scoring 2 runs and knocking in 2 RBI’s. 

The Rebels will face rival Springwood at home on Thursday and travel to Lee-Scott to face the Generals on Friday. 
Games are scheduled for 3:30.
