Ashley Crane of the Greater Valley Area Chamber of Commerce was on hand Monday evening along with Kimberly Myers of the American Cancer Society to accept a proclamation from LaFayette Mayor Barry Moody and members of the city council that has proclaimed June 23, 2017 as the date of the Relay for Life of the Greater Valley Area.
This year’s Relay for Life event will be held at the Chambers County Agricultural Center in LaFayette. Kimberly Myers who is the local coordinator for the American Cancer Society was very pleased to hold the event in LaFayette. She stated, “Chambers County is a great community and we look forward to watching this relay grow.”
