The Greater Valley Area Chamber of Commerce has announced a timeline to possibly seeing the Steak ‘n Shake location in Valley re-open its doors after its abrupt closure earlier this summer left many scratching their heads.
In June of this year the Steak ‘n Shake location in Chambers County closed its doors without warning only weeks shy of its one-year anniversary. The business has remained closed since, but has consistently announce plans to re-open better than before. It now looks that those promises are set to be fulfilled as a plan for the re-opening of the business has surfaced.
In a release from Ashley Crane, of the Greater Valley Area Chamber of Commerce it was announced that a remodel of the Steak ‘n Shake building should begin within the next week. The extent of what physical changes are coming to the business still remain a mystery. However, according to the release residents will be able to enjoy the signature steakburgers and shakes within 45 to 60 days if all goes as planned.
Residents have taken to social media to ponder on ideas of what changes are instore for the popular eatery. The speculation includes ideas such as the establishment will not include waitresses and waiters anymore and focus more on a walk-up themed style of dining. Steak ‘n Shake has not confirmed if that will be true or not.
Prior to the summer closure of the location many residents had complained about not so favorable customer service experiences while dining at the restaurant. The revamp of the business is set to create an entirely new style for the restaurant and target what was seen with prior guest complaints.
