So sorry to report Kayla Fawley’s house burned this past week. Unfortunately, she lost everything she owned. Fortunately, she was not at home so she and her fur baby are safe. She would like to thank everyone for responding to her needs and so thankful that Parker’s Food is tentatively planning a fund raiser March 17th selling plates in their parking lot. If anyone wants to make a donation for Kayla please do so at Parker’s food as soon as possible. More to come when these plans are finalized.

I am teaching Sunday School at LaFayette Nursing Home on Sunday morning during this month and I’m telling you I receive a double blessing every Sunday morning being there with those sweet guys and ladies after which, continuing on to First Baptist Church LaFayette with regular services.
Mrs. Shari Busby spent last week in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida visiting with her aunt Maxine Andrea.
Sunday afternoon I had the pleasure of being chauffeured around the Penton, Shiloh and Mt. Zion communities by the one and only Tony Mitchem. You see, Nancy Mitchem and I were invited to Mt. Zion Baptist Church to a baby shower for Blair Edge, anxiously waiting with husband Chase Edge, on the arrival of little Beau Edge in the near future. Seeing how Nancy was questioning whether she knew the way or not, Tony volunteered to drive us. Whenever he found out I was not familiar with the area, he decided to take me on a tour before and after the shower which I must say, made my day! What a joy to see all the wonderful ladies in the Mt. Zion community, please let me say thank you for your hospitality and warm welcoming. Little Beau will not need anything for a while because of the ladies generosity.

Please remember all the sick and shut ins in our area.
