Friday, February 24, 2017 quite a few women gathered at Center Baptist Church to share a ” Sisterhood Supper”.

A wonderful testimony shared by Amy Wells Smith added to the event. From what I understand a good time was had by all!

Rock Springs Baptist Church Bus drove into the church’s parking lot at approximately 3ish Saturday afternoon after spending a week in Mexico building a much needed home for a local resident. So glad they had a safe trip, can’t wait to hear stories shared to those who weren’t able to go.
So good to see Regena McDevitt back to church after loosing her father Joe Dunn. Speaking of church, we really enjoyed Sue Sheppard visiting in LaFayette Baptist Church Sunday morning and night.

Sad news of the week has been the death of Mr. Bill Callahan. He is one who will be missed. Condolences to his family.

Happy Happy Birthday to Mrs. Mary Finley Harmon, who celebrated her big day the first of the week..
Another safe arrival arrived this week as Ms. Louise Cox. returned home after her trip to Guatemala. Can’t wait to hear her story. The Third and Fourth grades from Chambers Academy, motored to see the LaGrange Symphony at the beautiful historic Langdale. Afterwards, a trip to Steak and Shake seemed only appropriate. I can only imagine the fun this group had.

Happy to report Calvin Miller is still recuperating at his home while his sweet wife Margaret has a bad case of the crud. Hopefully both of them will be as good as new.

Don’t forget about Women’s Wednesday morning Bible Study 10:00am every Wednesday in the fellowship hall of LaFayette Baptist Church.

Remember to start praying for our County wide Revival to be held this summer.
Please remember our sick and shut-ins who are not unable to leave there
homes this week.

Hope everyone has a great week !!
