Excitement is in the air with Graduation exercises just around the corner.
Congratulations to all the Seniors in the area and best wishes for a bright future.
Please remember to keep the family of JoAnn Fuller in your prayers. David and I are going to miss her on our Wednesday mornings delivering papers to Box Car enjoying breakfast together. I know Pam and Doug will miss her also.
This week is National Nursing Home Week. LaFayette Nursing Home has a very busy schedule for its residences this week so if you have a loved one there please join them each day to celebrate.
Good to see Margaret Miller in church Sunday as she has been under the weather lately.
Another Mother’s Day has passed and I hope all Mothers enjoyed their special day!
Don’t forget the annual Sheriff’s Rodeo this week end at the arena in LaFayette. Special needs will be held Thursday with the Rodeo on Friday and Saturday. Volunteers are always welcomed for special needs, where fun and enjoyment are guaranteed for the weekend! Let’s support our Chambers County Sheriffs Department and attend!!
So proud of Mrs. Louise Morgan as she is home recuperating after a stay in the hospital .
Plans are being made for Chambers County Relay for Life in June. More info to come .
Our Parks and Recreation Board are hard at work making things happen for our children in LaFayette. T Ball games are held every Tuesday afternoon at the LaFayette High School ball field.
Come on out and watch our young children excell in playing ball. Also registration has begun for fall football. Saturday morning 9-11 City Hall .. be sure and register your child if you are interested in them playing.
Remember to be in prayer for the summer revival to be held at Chambers Academy football field in July.
Vacation Bible Schools are being planned so please if someone from each church would contact me at 334-276-9038 or via email cblafayettesun@gmail. I will list them in this column as well to help get the word out!!
