If you missed LaFayette / Valley HavenDay Saturday, you really missed a treat! Thanks to everyone for being so nice as we drove our golf cart through the crowds. That’s the only way Dr. Vester would let me attend
,since, I was sent to the hospital on Thursday for a Doppler on my leg thinking I had a blood clot only to find a Varicose Vein had enlarged, causing me much pain so elevation of the leg is very important at this
time! I must say the cart’s dashboard was more comfortable than I ever imagined! Enough of that.. I will find out more on April 25 when I see Dr. Locke Vascular Surgeon!!

It was so good to see James (Sheriff) and Louise Morgan out on Saturday.. Valley Haven surprised Sheriff Morgan with a plaque thanking him for his untiring dedication and service to the event. Unfortunately the wind made it impossible for him to spend much time outdoors causing him to cut his visit short.

Sorry to hear the passing of Regina McDevitt’s Mother, Mildred Dunn of LaGrange, Georgia.

Patsy Clark and Linda Dudewicz of Eufaula, Alabama visited with friends Nick and Shirley Koulianos, while enjoying food and fellowship at Amsterdam in Auburn, Alabama.

It is my understanding Miss McKenzie Johnson celebrated her 8 th birthday Saturday at a party given in her honor with close friends and family..Happy Birthday McKenzie!!

Saturday evening Members of LaFayette First Baptist Church gather for a covered dish supper to meet Dr. Joe McKeever . Evangelist for Revival being held this week! What a treat, not only is he an a evangelist but an artist among other talents he has. While there being the Cartoonist, he drew a
cartoon of all who were there..

Mrs, Linda Williams and daughter Nancy spent a few days in Atlanta attending a Quilting and Craft Conference. It was good to see they made back safely to LaFayette Day, Recently, Linda Riley, Shelby Lee and Shirley Koulianos motored to Lanett to enjoy a luncheon at the new home of Ramona Hood. I am sure a good time
was had by all!

Please remember the 20th annual Chambers County Sheriff Association Rodeo this week end.. Special Olympics Rodeo to be held on Thursday with the regular Rodeo on Friday.and Saturday.

Hope to see you there
Until next week
