Well the election is over and congratulations to the new Councilmen and Councilwoman of LaFayette on a job well done! Thank you to all who voted and let’s move forward to building LaFayette together. Most of all don’t forget to vote for Mayor on October 4 due to a run off of our current mayor Barry Moody and Kenny Vines.
Our friend Sid Cooley met with Mike Petry on Friday morning and decided to pay us a visit! What a joy to sit and enjoy brunch on our front porch.
Another guest stopped by later the same day when we also enjoyed a cup of coffee with Mike McDonald.. Our front porch open door policy still stands..
Please stop by for a visit any time, we love spending time with not only our old friends but new ones as well.
From what I understand a group of ladies from First Baptist Church attended a Beth Moore conference in Mobile last weekend.
I’m sure the class of 1964 Milltown High School really celebrated Saturday with their 52nd reunion.
Mr and Mrs. Walter Allen along with Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Burton attended services at Sweet Home Methodist Church on Sunday commemorating the 150th anniversary of the church. Festivities included dinner on the grounds!
I enjoyed the celebration of the 13th annual fun day for the Sardis community on Saturday, thank you all for the wonderful food and hospitality.
