Jamarious Beatty #12
My name is Jamarious Beatty, I’m a Senior at Lafayette High School.
Wide Receiver also #12 for the Lafayette Bulldogs.
My Parents are Shandrell Ray and Mark Beaty
My goal for the season is to come out on top and bring the city a big blue trophy. Last year we fell short in the first round of the playoffs, it is a bad feeling knowing that you could’ve went further in the playoffs but was knocked out in the first game.
This year we plan on striving towards what we want. I felt bad for the seniors last year, I refuse to end my last season playing high school football without a football ring on my finger.
Friday’s game against Poka, I was very proud of our performance as a team. Our Quarterback threw the ball very well and our receivers caught the ball very well. The line held up just like we needed them too, Poka was strict over the run so we had to adapt to the plan and we did it. We came out with the win 48-24. We knew we were the better team on the field but we knew we couldn’t play around with them.
My future goals are to become an electronic engineer and get the things I want.
I love my city, if it wasn’t for Lafayette I wouldn’t be the person I am today…
Jamarious Beaty is also a part of the Lafayette High School Varsity Basketball Ball Team and The 2014-15 Lafayette High School Basketball State Championship Team.

I think we going go all the way, if we keep working hard and doing what we have to do our season will turn out good and when I graduate I want to go to college and work on my college degree in framer.
The game from Friday night against Vincent was turnt.
I think if we put the work in at practice and at the game we will be the best team in 2A .
I think with the other guys help if we go out and do what we got to do and keep it up we can get that ring.
Coach Lucas said if you want be a champ you got work hard like a champ
When we was in the locker room he was like y’all doing a good job out there. Get your mind on the game and think bout the playoff and how Fyffe did us and use that for momentum.
In Vincent Game we came back out after half time and did our thing and I think if we do the same thing this Friday we will have a good season.
All I got to say is I love Lafayette Bulldogs and the class of 17 is here and we ain’t playing, We ready for any school. 100
