Want to get better acquainted with what is happening on Southern Union’s Valley Campus? Come out to campus for a fun-filled evening on October 22, from 5 to 8 p.m. ET, for Stampede Day.
Stampede Day is an “appreciation day” to introduce students and community members to the numerous opportunities that Southern Union has to offer, while having some fun in the process.
A myriad of exciting activities are planned for the event. Student organizations will be represented. There will be free food. SU nursing students will offer free blood pressure screenings, and there will be fun activities for children. Stampede Day will also feature several area businesses and organizations who will be offering special offers exclusive to this event.
“Not only do we want to say thank you to our current students for choosing Southern Union, but we also feel that this is a great opportunity for prospective students to come onto campus and see how we are growing and how we can help them turn their goals into reality,” commented Robin Brown, director of SU’s Valley campus. “We also want to open this to the community to say thank you for the unwavering support that we receive from them. We hope everyone will join in the fun!”
All activities are free to the public and everyone is invited to attend. For more information on Stampede Day or any program offered on Southern Union’s Valley Campus, contact Brown at 334-756-4151.
