JaTarvious Whitlow at Auburn University for Big Cat Weekend.
The visits just keep on coming for LaFayette High School senior JaTarvious Whitlow. The quarterback spent some time over the weekend at Auburn University for the football program’s annual Big Cat Weekend.
With camp appearances set for the University of Alabama at Birmingham and the University of Alabama later this week, Whitlow is getting a chance to see a lot more of the country’s best prospects. The Big Cat Weekend has been in existence since 2009 with a number of campers becoming major parts of both the 2010 and 2013 SEC championship teams at Auburn and the 2010 national championship team, respectively.
“It was great,” said Whitlow via text on Sunday night. “I really learned a lot from the camp. Auburn has a really good coaching staff who care for you and demand nothing but excellence from you while pushing you beyond others.”
As many as 40 top prospects are invited to the camp.
