2025 Municipal election results for Chambers Co.

CHAMBERS COUNTY — LaFayette, Lanett and Valley all three held municipal elections Tuesday. These results are unofficial and will be canvassed and made official on Sept. 2.
LAFAYETTE —
Mayor - Kenneth Vines v. Terry G. Mangram
Kennth Vines won the position of Mayor, beating out his opponent Terry Mangram. Vines received 334 votes and Mangram received 228.
District B - Andrew Vines v. Kim Thomas Langley v. Nell Finley
There will be a runoff on Sept. 23 for District B. Kim Langley received 65 votes, Andrews Vines received 52 and Nell Finley received 46.
District D Charlene Story v. Ebony Askew v. Brandon Brooks
Charlene Story won the election for the District D seat taking 72 votes. Ebony Askew received 62 votes and Brandon Brooks received 4.
Districts A, C and E were unopposed and not on Tuesday’s ballot.
LANETT —
Mayor - Rodney Ross v. Stanley Roberts v. Erick Woody v. Tony Malone v. Tifton Dobbs v. Charles Autry v. Randall Aikens
There will be a runoff in the election for the Lanett mayor between Randall Aikens and Jamie Heard.
Aikens took 470 votes, Heard 431 votes, Tifton Dobbs 259 votes, Tony Malone 148 votes, Stanley Roberts 55 votes, Rod Ross 50 votes, Erick Woody 21votes and Charles Autry 15 votes.
The runoff will be held Sept. 23.
Council District 1 - Roderick Autry v. Denise Zachery
Denise Zachery won the Council District 1 seat taking 99 votes to Roderick Autry’s 84.
Council District 2 - Kristina Story v. Teresa Woody v. Sherry Potts
There will be a runoff between Kristina Story who receivecd 136 votes and Teresa Woody with 129 votes. Sherry Potts received 29.
Council District 3 - Brad Lynn v. Ronnie Tucker v. Jarquez McCullough
Brad Lynn beat his opponents taking 319 votes. Ronnie Tucker received 125 and Jarquez McCullough recived 86.
Council District 4 - Angelia Thomas v. Charles Bagley v. Kenneth Smith
Charles Brandon Bagley won District 4 taking 103 of the votes against Angelia Thomas with 61 votes and Kenneth Smith with 24.
Council District 5 - Kim Roberts v. Tony Moffett v. Emily Shepard
Kim Roberts won the Council District 5 seat. She received 142 votes. Tony Moffett received 90 and Emily Shepard received 7.
School Board District 1
Gwen Brooks took the School Board District 1 seat gaining 131 votes. Her opponent Terry Reed received 53.
School Board District 2 - Myron Fears v. Shamia Lancaster-Morgan
Myron Fears won the School Board District 2 seat by receiving 149 votes. Shamia Lancaster-Morgan received 139 votes.
School Board District 3 - Leilani Rudd v. Patricia Woody v.. Michelle Tucker v. Johnny Wood Jr.
Leilani Rudd won the School Board District 3 seat in a close race against Johnny Wood Jr. Rudd received 194 votes to Wood’s 184. Michelle Tucker received 97 votes and Patricia Woody received 42.
School Board District 4 - David Gagnon v. Ashley Holloway
Ashley Holloway defeated her opponent gaining 126 votes to David Gagnon’s 59 votes.
School Board District 5 - Gail Holley v. Ryan Seymour
Gail Holley beat Ryan Seymour for the School Board District 5 seat with 130 votes to Seymour’s 106 votes.
VALLEY —
Mayor - Allison Banks v. Leonard Riley, incumbent
Incumbant Mayor Leonard Riley earned 918 votes, 68%, in Valley and will remain in his position. Riley has been Mayor of Valley for the past 12 years.
“Tonight I am humbled by the support this community has shown me,” Riley said. “I am ready to continue the progress weve made in Valley.”
His opponent Allison Banks received 427 or 32% of the vote.
District 1 - Jim Clark v. Bo Colley
Jim Clark won the District B seat. Out of the 232 votes cast in District 1, he won with% 78of the votes while Bo Colley received 22% of the votes.
District 4 - Jeffery Finch v. Marquetta Madden v. Desmond Reece
There will be a runoff between Desmond Reece and Marquetta Madden with Reece receiving 39%, Madden 37% and Finch 22%
District 6 - Jolanda Barnes v. Henry Cooper v. LC Marshall
Jolanda Barnes beat her opponents Henry Cooper and LC Marshall for the District 6 seat. Barnes received 55% votes against Marshall’s 34% and Cooper’s 11%
Districts 2, 3, 5 and 7 were unopposed.
Runoff elections will be held Sept. 23.
