ALDI to open new location in Valley in Summer 2027

VALLEY — The Chambers County Development Authority and the city of Valley recently announced that ALDI is bringing its convenient, cost-saving shopping experience to Valley. The new grocery store will be located in the Village Square Shopping Center at 3418 20th Ave. in Valley. This development is a partnership between the Chambers County Development Authority, the city of Valley and Valley Village Square LLC.
“The addition of ALDI is a welcome development for the city of Valley,” Mayor Leonard Riley said. “Families will benefit from greater access to affordable grocery choices, while this investment further enhances the quality of life in our community. Announcements like this reflect the progress Valley is making, and we remain committed to building an environment where businesses can thrive and residents can prosper.”

The project represents a $3 million capital investment and is expected to create approximately 75 jobs in the community. Construction is expected to begin in the coming months with plans to open the store in summer of 2027.
