Be.Still Creative is creating a creative community
Creating banners and signs to cover the community — Be.Still Creative prints positivity in Chambers County.
“We do banners, we do stickers, yard signs and large signs — like metal signs, outdoor signs — vinyl for your truck or car, vinyl for your storefront and some stationary items,” said owner Casey Hall. “We help design [signs] and do some logo design — and we help people complete and create their ideas.”
Through a range of products, Be.Still Creative helps local businesses, organizations and more to share their message with the community.
“We do a lot of banners for churches,” Hall said. “We do a lot of yard signs, like political yard signs — signs for churches, events and schools — we also do some larger size signs for some companies that just need signage around their businesses or inside.”
Through communication and collaboration, Hall said he ensures Be.Still Creative products meet the desires and standards of customers.
“So [when a customer contacts me] I ask for some inspiration, if they have any,” he said. “If not, then I’ll start going with a draft — I like to
send a draft [to the customer] and see if it matches their vision. I send it an email,
or however they want the picture sent, and then they let me know if there is anything they want to change. I don’t have a limit on how many revisions. Sometimes it’s
a lot of back and forth. Sometimes they love it the first time. So we believe it [should be] exactly the way you want it before we print it.”
Since opening in 2021, Hall said customer support helps keep Be.Still Creative remains a local print shop.
“We’ve been blessed with a lot of local customers
ordering signs and banners — it’s scary being a small business having to rely
on other people, but it’s been a blessing — and the community has really helped us make it and survive,” he said. “I’m thankful to have this small town that helps shop and support local.”
Hall said when people purchase from Be.Still
Creative, instead of from large online shops, they are investing in community commerce and a product that was created by local hands.
“I work from home, I have a shop on my property, that’s where I do this from,” he said. “My wife has a full-time job. She works from home, but anytime that I need assistance with a
sign, she’s able to walk out here and help me do it. So the majority of everything that people order from us is [hand] made — we’re able to put our hands on it and make sure it’s good. And it’s cool to ride around town and see signs that have come out of my shop.”
Not only does customer support help local businesses, Hall said, it is an investment in the community as a whole and allows him, through Be.Still Creative, to give back locally.
“When I think about shopping local, it’s not just buying something — there’s a family behind it and that
purchase will support them,” he said. “People come to me and they want donations for a sports team or something, they’re not going to some big company online and asking for the donation for their sports team, they’re asking
a local business. The money that’s being spent here,
I’m able to put [support] back into our community, help [through] donations and sponsorships and give signs away for free. Without people supporting me, I wouldn’t have the funds or the ability to be able to do that.”
