LaFayette Main Street receives Innovate Alabama Network Designation

LAFAYETTE — LaFayette Main Street is proud to announce its official designation as a member of the Innovate Alabama Network, a statewide initiative dedicated to advancing entrepreneurship, innovation, workforce development and economic growth across Alabama.
"Communities like LaFayette play a critical role in Alabama’s innovation economy," Karri Green, Network Designation program director, Innovate Alabama said. "Through the Innovate Alabama Network, we are investing in communities that are creating opportunities for entrepreneurs, supporting small businesses and building the infrastructure needed for long-term economic growth. We are excited to welcome LaFayette Main Street to the network and support its vision for a thriving innovation ecosystem."
As part of this designation, LaFayette Main Street will receive a $45,455 grant to continue efforts to support entrepreneurs, small businesses, remote workers and emerging industries through innovative economic development initiatives. A key component of this work is the development of a collaborative entrepreneurial hub designed to provide resources, workspace, training opportunities and business support services for both new and existing businesses.
This designation recognizes LaFayette Main Street's ongoing commitment to strengthening the local economy through small business support, workforce development, downtown revitalization and community collaboration.

The Innovate Alabama Network serves as a comprehensive resource that connects communities, nonprofits and higher education institutions actively fostering innovation in Alabama. With this designation, LaFayette Main Street is now eligible to apply for additional funding to further support and growth for LaFayette.
