Locals support Valley Haven School at LaFayette Day
The 30th Annual and final LaFayette Day was held in downtown LaFayette on the Square on Friday, April 11, drawing residents and visitors for a community celebration featuring local traditions and entertainment. The event included a car show with street rods, antique cars, trucks and tractors, along with a motorcycle ride that attracted participants from the area. Attendees browsed handmade crafts and art booths while enjoying a variety of homemade foods.
Families participated in activities for children, and attendees were able to enjoy musical entertainment throughout their time on the Square. The whole event was organized to support Valley Haven School. Locals can also look forward to additional activities connected to the celebration including an Auction that will be held on April 24, and a Hike-Bike-Run event scheduled for May 2, with the intention to extend community involvement beyond the main event.
