LOIS RAY

Mrs. Lois Ray, 92, of Waverly died Sunday, Sept. 7, 2025, at her residence. Funeral services were held on Saturday, Sept. 13, at Antioch Baptist Church, located at 2467 County Road 28 in LaFayette with the Rev. Cornelius Reese officiating. The interment was in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Ray is survived by her children: Janet Brummitt from Camp Hill, Debbie Moss from Auburn; Billy (Linda) Ray from Alexander City, Michael (Bernice) Ray from LaGrange, Georgia and Louise Allen from LaFayette; sons-in-law Curtis Brummitt and Marshel Guice; her sisters Mary Pearl Young from Lanett, Mary A. Carr from LaFayette and Loretta Allen from Five Points; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

DON MARSHALL FARROW

Mr. Don Marshall Farrow of Nokesville, Virginia (formerly from Camp Hill, Alabama) died Thursday, Sept. 4, 2025, in Virginia. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 20, at Spring Hill Primitive Baptist Church located at 4 Bond Spur Road in Camp Hill at 1 p.m. (CST) with Elders Gregory Brown and Thomas Knight officiating. The remains will be available for viewing at the church from noon (CST) until the funeral hour. The interment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Friday, Sept. 19, from 4 to 6 p.m. (CST) at the Vines Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Farrow is survived by his devoted wife Dr. Xavier D. Curry Farrow of Nokesville; two daughters Portia Farrow Gross, Richmond, Virginia and Nicole Farrow Hornbuckle of Stamford, Conneticut; two siblings Bobby Farrow of East Haven, Conneticut and Joyce Farrow of Hamden, Conneticut; two grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
