CHAMBERS COUNTY — Joining shopping and small businesses, the Chambers County Library Expo creates a space for locals to begin purchasing holiday products, gifts and decor.
“The Chambers County Library Expo will be held on Saturday, Nov. 1, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. EST at the H. Grady Bradshaw Library in Valley,” said Library Director Mary Hamilton. “There is no charge to attend the Expo, and all vendors, with the exception of food trucks, will be located inside the library. The Expo is the perfect place to start your holiday shopping and to shop local. With more than 60 registered vendors, there is something for everyone to enjoy.”
Those who purchase from the variety of items at the Expo will be entered for a $100 Visa gift card drawing.
“The Able Gardner Backyard Nursery will have house and landscaping plants for sale,” Hamilton said. “The Georgia Alabama Quilts of Valor will have handmade quilts and pillowcases for sale. Pick up some body butters, lotions, sugar scrubs, candles and beard palm to pamper yourself. Original artwork will be available along with jewelry, and lots of handmade crafts will be available for purchase. Kids can build a stuffed animal with Bearing Treatz.
“After shopping, stop to enjoy a hot or cold coffee drink from Red Valley Brew or a refreshing lemonade from Olivia’s Lemonade Slushy Stand,” she said. “Enjoy some homemade banana pudding, cakes and cinnamon rolls from The Pastry Bee; nut brittles from J’s Brittle; homemade breads from The Little Blue Cottage.”
